On Saturday, July 14th, 2012 our publisher, and our photographer, covered the Washington Capitals Fan Fest in Arlington, Virginia that was held at the Kettler Capitals Iceplex. As they are both huge fans of the team, this proved to be a spectacular event for them. Young fans were also treated to face painting and roof-top amusements.

This past season the team succeeded to the semi-finals of professional hockey’s most prized goal, the Stanley Cup playoffs. The winner of this year’s coveted trophy went to the Los Angeles Kings for their first time ever win. It was truly an exciting season and our staff was glued to the television rooting for the Caps in every game. We had been thrilled when they won over their rivals the Pittsburg Penguins in the Winter Classics in 2010-2011.

We previously ran an article about the autograph signing by goalie Braden Holtby and hope to do more on our favorite team. So we are asking our readers, and Caps fans, to look for more on the team in the near future.
