The Arts and Entertainment Magazine recently listed two News Flashes to alert Student Filmmakers and actors about some important events coming up on the calendar.

  For August, The World Music and Independent Film Festival will be taking place in Washington, DC, and we will be sending our news team there to cover it. You can find more information about it by referring to our March 14th, 2013 addition to our publication. Additional time has been given by the festival for students to enter their work in it, but time is running out. You can find out how to enter your films by referring to that particular information in our March issue.

  Another change of venue is coming through our new Web Partner, XBIT_GIGAS out of India. You can find reference to them in our March 29, 2013 article about the Bollywood to Hollywood producer Devajit Chakraborty. XBIT-GIGAS has now extended their operations to include personal management services and they are running a Model of the Month’ contest for all who apply. As a Web Partner, The Arts and Entertainment Magazine will include the winning model’s name and photo in our magazine. Those interested can contact XBIT-GIGAS directly through their site. Our publication does not participate in their contest, nor operation, but will run the photos in our magazine as a compliment to our web partners.
